Bulldog fans, it’s almost time for the Kearney Bulldog Classic, coming Jan. 12-16. We’ll have a full week of great hoops, including the 51st annual Girls Division Tournament and the 59th annual Boys Division Tournament. Admission is $5 for adults and seniors and $3 for students in grades K-12.

The girls' tournament tips off Monday, Jan. 12, with games at 3:30, 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m., then continues Wednesday, Jan. 14, with the same slate of start times. Championship Friday, Jan. 16, features a full afternoon and evening of placement games, with seventh place and third place games at 3:30 p.m., and the consolation and championship matchups set for 6:30 p.m. 

On the boys' side, pool play runs Tuesday through Thursday, leading into Friday’s placement games. The Bulldogs’ pool play games are Tuesday, Jan. 13, when Kearney faces Platte County at 6:30 p.m., and Thursday, Jan. 15, when Kearney takes on North Platte at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, wraps up with third-place and consolation games at 5 p.m., followed by the championship and additional consolation matchups at 8 p.m.
