Celebrate the World Cup at Kearney's 'Cleats & Beats'

Soccer fans, music lovers and anyone who enjoys a great community celebration will want to mark their calendars for Friday, June 19!
The City of Kearney, in partnership with GO North KC and other regional organizations, is hosting Cleats & Beats at Jesse James Park. This free community FanFest, World Cup watch party and concert event will begin at 11 a.m.
The highlight of the day will be a live outdoor viewing of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ match between the United States and Australia on a massive screen. Kearney is one of seven Northland locations helping bring World Cup excitement to our region through this partnership with GO North KC.
After the match, the celebration will keep rolling with live music from The Bangerz, plus a DJ to help keep the energy going throughout the event.
Families and fans can also enjoy food trucks, concessions, selfie stations, interactive Fan Zone activities and a drop-in soccer camp with international coaches from Challenger Sports from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission is free. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
We’re grateful to the City of Kearney and its partners for creating opportunities like this for our students, families and community members to gather, cheer and celebrate together. Whether you’re a lifelong soccer fan or just looking for a fun summer event close to home, Cleats & Beats sounds like a great way to spend the day.
