Join us as we celebrate our Kearney School District Kids Club staff members during 2026 Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week!

Kids Club serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade before and after school, providing a safe, welcoming and engaging place for children whose families need care outside the regular school day. From early mornings to late afternoons, our Kids Club team members help students start and end their school days with support, supervision and plenty of opportunities to have fun.

Their work includes everything from arts and crafts, dramatic play and music to gym time, games and other educational activities. Just as importantly, they build relationships with our children and families. They create the kind of caring school community where students feel known, supported and ready to learn. Kids Club staff help ensure that our students get a jumpstart on the day and finish strong!

Kids Club operates at Dogwood Elementary, Hawthorne Elementary, Kearney Elementary and Southview Elementary during the regular school year. Our staff also supports families during summer programming, professional development days and other times when school is not in session.
