We want to help spread the word about a fun community event that supports KSD students and schools!

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the KSD Education Foundation will host a fundraiser at the Kearney Fieldhouse featuring the world-famous Harlem Wizards and a KSD staff team led by KHS Boys Basketball Head Coach Dillon Starzl and including Hawthorne teammates Maddie Taylor, Shelly Dunn and Sophie Martin! They're showing off their phenomenal basketball skills i the video above!

If your family has never seen the Harlem Wizards, think of a fun event with basketball tricks, comedy, crowd interaction and lots of energy! It is a great event for kids and adults.

This fundraiser supports the KSD Education Foundation, including classroom grants, scholarships, and the Grow Your Own program, which helps us guide our own students towards careers in public education. The proceeds will also help support the KHS Boys Basketball team.
