The Kearney High School Theatre Department presents “The Jungle Book” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28 in the auditorium. Admission is free for this show, which is approximately 30 minutes long. Donations to support the drama program at KHS will be accepted.

This one-night show is helping KHS theatre students prepare for the MSHSAA Readers Theatre and One Act District Competition, which starts on Feb. 29 at Liberty North High School. Attending “The Jungle Book” will help support the Bulldogs as they head into this competition, according to Theatre Director Haley Kernes.

“This will be a great way to get them excited before we compete!” Kernes said. “We’re always grateful for the support this community shows for our students.”
