December 7, 2021
Dear Bulldog Staff, Parents/Guardians and Community Members,
You may be aware that the Attorney General of Missouri has issued a letter directing local public health authorities and school districts to stop enforcing a number of COVID-19 mitigation efforts.
Our focus will continue to be protecting the health and wellness of our students, staff and visitors while ensuring that in-person teaching and learning continues uninterrupted. With those outcomes in mind, we are going to continue to utilize all of the mitigation steps detailed in the 2021-2022 return-to-school plan that was approved by our Board of Education. This includes universal indoor masking for all students, staff and visitors.
Our legal counsel has advised us that no action is necessary at this time in response to the Attorney General’s letter. We are monitoring the status of the pandemic in our community and public health recommendations. Our administration and Board members will make adjustments as appropriate in order to meet our goals.
Thank you for taking the time to read this update. Please contact us at the district office if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Dr. Todd White, Interim Superintendent
